Hebrews 10:1-10: Jesus Solved the Problem with the Law

Jesus solved the problem with the Law and the Jewish readers needed to understand that it was always God’s plan to bring a New Covenant. Christ's offering was a once-for-all sacrifice, which was superior to all the shadowy sacrifices of the Levitical system.
The Levitical sacrifices were the shadow, but Jesus’ sacrifice was the reality. So, to the Jewish people, our author would say, “Stop looking to the shadow when the real thing is here.” “Stop staring at the old picture when the resurrected Christ is inviting you to embrace Him.” What we have in the New Covenant is infinitely better than what they had in the Old Covenant.
