Paul was perplexed. He didn’t understand why the Galatians would leave freedom in Christ to adopt the bondage of the Mosaic Law. He knew what that bondage was like and he begged them to live in their freedom.

Sadly, too many Christians today make the same decision the Galatians made. They are free in Christ, but instead of walking by the Spirit and living in freedom, they choose to accept the bondage of keeping the Mosaic Law. Christianity is not about keeping rules but letting Christ rule. Our focus should be on growing in the grace and love of Jesus Christ and loving people as Christloves us.
